1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Ace Worksheet ("App"), an educational application designed to assist parents in helping their children with homework. By accessing or using the App, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App. The App is intended for use by parents and guardians to assist their children with educational activities.

2. Children's Privacy Protection

In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA"), we require parental consent for the collection of personal information from children under 13. By using this App, you confirm that you are a parent or legal guardian of the child(ren) using the App, or that you have obtained the necessary parental consent.

  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
  • Parents may review, modify, or delete their child's information by contacting us at support@aceworksheet.com.
  • We use industry-standard security measures to protect children's information.

3. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of Ace Worksheet and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

  • You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any content without our express written permission.
  • Educational materials provided are for personal, non-commercial use only.

4. User Responsibilities

As a user, you are responsible for providing accurate information when using the App. You must ensure that all content you submit complies with the applicable laws and does not infringe the rights of others.

  • You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes.
  • You agree not to misuse or interfere with the App's functionality.

5. Parental Responsibilities

As a parent or legal guardian, you are responsible for:

  • Monitoring your child's use of the App and ensuring it is used appropriately.
  • Ensuring the educational content is suitable for your child's age and educational level.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and not sharing them with your child.
  • Reviewing any educational materials before they are presented to your child.

6. Account Management

Our App uses Clerk authentication service for user registration and login. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your authentication credentials (email and password)
  • Not sharing your account credentials with others
  • Notifying us immediately if you suspect your account has been compromised
  • Following Clerk's security best practices for account management

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we suspect any misuse or violation of these Terms.

7. Subscription and Refunds

Our App may offer premium features through subscription plans. By subscribing, you agree to the following terms:

  • Subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
  • Refunds may be provided at our sole discretion and must be requested within 14 days of the initial purchase.
  • We reserve the right to change subscription fees with 30 days' notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data or interruptions to your access.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE APP OR THE SERVERS THAT MAKE IT AVAILABLE ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate. Any legal actions or proceedings relating to these Terms must be brought in the courts located in that jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. You will be notified of any significant changes. By continuing to use the App after such modifications, you agree to the revised Terms.
